Completion — the end of a chapter, often right before a new one starts. This is the one number pattern people sometimes mistake for a negative sign, and it isn't; endings are just part of the cycle.

Here's the distinction that matters: recognizing something is finished and actually letting it go are two different steps. Seeing 999 tells you it's time. It doesn't do the letting go for you.
