What we collect

To calculate your results, our calculators ask for:

Your birthdate — used by every numerology calculator, Angel Numbers' personal number, and Astrology's Sun sign.
Your birth time and birth location — used only by Astrology, specifically to calculate your Moon sign and Rising sign. This is more sensitive information than a birthdate alone, and we only ask for it where the calculation genuinely requires it.
A name, for the numerology calculators that use it (Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Compatibility).

How we use it, and what we don't do with it

This information is used solely to perform the calculation and show you your result. We do not create accounts, and we do not store this information after your calculation is complete. Each visit is independent — we don't build a profile of you, and there's no database holding your birth information tied to your identity.

This is a deliberate design choice, not an oversight: the site is built to work without needing to know who you are.

Third-party services we use

GeoNames (city and timezone data for the Astrology calculator) — this is a static reference dataset (city names, coordinates, time zones) we query to support the Rising sign calculation. It is not a service that receives or stores your personal information; the city you select is used the same way your birthdate is, transiently, to compute your result.
Umami Cloud (privacy-respecting analytics) — this tracks aggregate visit data (pages viewed, general location by country/region, device type) without cookies and without collecting or storing any personally identifiable information. It cannot be used to identify individual visitors.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Your rights

Because we don't store your birth information after a calculation completes, there is generally nothing on our end to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about this, or about any data connected to future site analytics, contact us at hello@sundialhouse.co.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a meaningful way — for example, if we introduce accounts or persistent storage of your information in the future — we'll update this page and note the change clearly, not bury it.
